Creating a dementia-friendly Melbourne

In May, Dementia Australia Chair Graham Samuel AC and CEO Maree McCabe addressed the Committee for Melbourne during a breakfast promoting the need for Melbourne to become a dementia-friendly city. They were joined by consumers Anne Tudor and Edie Mayhew, who shared their own experiences in helping to create a dementia-friendly Ballarat.

It was encouraging to see so many representatives from organisations interested in learning more about what they can do to create a Melbourne where people living with dementia are supported to live the life they choose and engage in the activities that are important to them.
