Organisations in Western Sydney have thrown their support behind a project to make Western Sydney public transport more dementia-friendly.
Anglicare at Home Dementia Advisory Services are working closely with community members to sensitise and educate staff associated with the Blacktown train lines in Sydney.
You can watch a video featuring the project team discussing why this project is so important, and what steps have been taken so far by clicking here.
We look forward to keeping you updated on the project’s progress over the coming months.
Dementia Australia thanks everyone who participated in the filming of this video. This project was a recipient of a Dementia Australia Dementia Friendly Community Community Engagement Program Grant.
