The Brains Behind Dementia Research – meet some of Australia’s leading dementia researchers

A new monthly video interview series called ‘the brains behind dementia research’ was launched today by the Alzheimer’s Australia Dementia Research Foundation. In the first interview, they chat with one of Australia’s leading dementia researchers, Scientia Professor Henry Brodaty – co-director of the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing, UNSW, Director, Dementia Collaborative research Centre for Assessment and Better Care, Chair, Board of Directors, Alzheimer’s Australia Dementia Research Foundation and Honorary Medical Advisor to Alzheimer’s Australia NSW.

Questions asked include how Professor Brodaty got involved in dementia research, how far has the field come in past 20 years, some of the challenges being faced into the future and why he supports organisations such as Alzheimer’s Australia and our Dementia Research Foundation?
