" More research is needed to see if vitamin E really does benefit people with dementia, and whether it would be safe taking such a high dose on a daily basis - Dr Doug Brown, Alzheimer's Society. "
Could vitamin E slow Alzheimer’s disease?

The UK’s Alzheimer’s Society has urged caution over findings that a daily dose of vitamin E could reduce the annual rate of cognitive decline in a person with dementia by 19 precent.

The Alzheimer’s Society said while the study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, was of interest more research into the use of Vitamin E to halt dementia was needed.
